Farmers’ Market News

Aloha FarmLover!

Well, yesterday may have been National Coffee Day… but they’ve got nothing on our big celebration planned for this Saturday at Kaka’ako Farmers’ Market! To celebrate our 2 year anniversary of the market, we are bringing back the Hawaii Coffee Fest! Chef Russell Siu from Kaka’ako Kitchen will be sampling his Coffee Panna Cotta; Chef Arnaud Jaeger from Waikiki Yacht Club is sharing his Cappacino Mousse with Biscotti; and we will have Mocha Java Birthday Cake made by our very own Hawaii French Connection! Sample away as you learn about all the ways to brew your favorite beans; discover new flavors from across our state; root for your favorite Barista in the Showdown; and start your holiday shopping with signed copies of The Hawaii Coffee Book, by Shawn Steiman. Listen to live music, relax in the covered cafe woth some great food, and of course bring those shopping bags to fill with fresh local grown produce! This event is free and family friendly. Lots of free parking throughout Ward Village. See you there!
